“Assisted opening knives are a dime-a-dozen and most are worth just about that – a dime. This is my first purchase of an assisted opening knife from a renowned company known for their excellent craftsmanship. This knife is simply the finest blade I’ve ever owned.” – Customer Review, November 2018
A RUGGED DAILY CARRY
AN ARTFUL HANDLE
The Kiku Assisted is a sophisticated and stylish folder
SOG Assisted Technology (S.A.T.) works through the balance of opposing high-tension coil springs. As you initiate the opening action, the force propelling your blade open becomes greater than the force keeping it closed. The result is a blade that springs open instantly once it is engaged, seemingly on its own.
S35VN is advanced steel, with vanadium and niobium carbides that provide high degrees of toughness and wear resistance.
LINEN MICARTA HANDLE
Micarta is created from soaking layers of linen cloth in resin, then pressing them together. It offers superior grip in wet or dry conditions and develops an eye-catching patina the more it’s used.
